Haven't heard much about the use of fenbendazole as a treatment for quail since the initial flurry of PR about QuailGuard. Last I heard, they were awaiting USDA approval. Is anyone aware of any current trials? I'm sure there are some folks around mixing it with maize and using it off label. What's the latest word?

South of and East of Raymondville the USDA has been putting out deer feeders treated with Ivometin to combat cattle tick fever. It is unknown what impact that will have on the quail population. Ivermectin is good for a number of parasites. However, slince the dosage is for deer, who knows what it will do to quail?
