Looks like a great place.
I've never been but understand it is beautiful there. Just wouldn't want any part of it from about mid November through about late April. lol
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Pickford mi in the up my dad bought a place on the river , yes lots of bugs Know exactly where that is. My folks had a place on the mouth of the Pine River, just south of M134. It actually had a Hessel address. Cousin caught over 100 Northern's 2 weekends ago out in the big lake. Next time you are up, if you haven't been to the bear sanctuary, it is a great place to take kids. Tahquamenon Falls also a great place.

The falls are really nice and another thing I found interesting is the Soo Locks in Sault Ste Marie those are some huge ships. My dad was born and raised in Manistique and I still have family there and my Aunt is over in Cooks. Hopefully the next time you go the Northern Lights will be visible the last time I was there they were but they weren’t colorful they just looked like clouds but still cool.

My brother has hunting property in Manistique. If you go to the locks on Engineers day you can walk right out onto the locks. Used tibbe a great car show in St.Ignace about the same time in June.
