Tulsa Burning, 100 years later.

Just finished the book, "The Five Civilized Tribes" by Grant Foreman.

The five (5) civilized Tribes were: Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek and Seminole.

Each of the five Tribes were major black slave owners and when they were moved to Oklahoma they took they slaves with them. That was part of the deal with the Government.

Wonder if the folks from Tulsa are going to ask the Indians for reparations? If they do, I would pay to be there when that happens.

They most certainly did. Plenty of historical documentation to prove it as well. Even Wikipedia touches on the subject and they tend to lean way liberal.

Just about every ethnic group had slaves and just about every ethnic group was a slave. What America did to Africans was neither new nor isolated. We were also not the only ones involved, at the time. Aside from the fact that nobody living had a thing to do with it, it was worldwide. Oh, and it still happens, across the world. These little inconvenient facts just don’t fit the mainstream narrative.

Correct me if I am wrong, Indian owned slaves were not freed nor awarded US citizenship by the 14th Amendment.

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

I heard about it in about 1959, a lady that lived across the street from uncle and aunt, she was born and raised in Tulsa. She was born in 1897, she had some great history stories. Her parents were in the Oklahoma Land Rush. .

There are more slaves right now in the world than ever before.

Of course most held by Muslims, so you don’t hear about it in the liberal media.

Part of the program, at least for the Choctaw, was that the slaves had to become members of the Choctaw tribe and were registered with the BIA as such. Little known facts doesn’t make them untrue.

Apart from the Black Slaves you already know about now they also had slaves from other tribes and later had white slaves as well. We can safely say they were enslaving others long before Europeans set foot on North America.

Why do you think they abducted women and children? For pets?

Sherman experienced a similar situation and the Grayson County Courthouse was burned to the ground. Even Frank Hamer couldn't stand that mob off though he tried.

Interesting and somewhat ironic about our Native American Indians. Lets see they were driven out of their own homelands and forced to stay on reservations which basically made them prisoners to that area,
yet they were able to have slaves?

The only folks that might be owed anything from our government is the Native American Indian and White males that have been discriminated against in any type of business simply because they are White males!

There wouldn't of been a Tulsa massacre if this hadn't happened.Dick Rowland, a Black shoeshiner, was accused of assaulting Sarah Page, the 17-year-old White elevator operator of the nearby Drexel Building.

this doesn't make anything about it better. None at all. If not that, likely something else would have caused this hatred to boil over. there is no excuse there. None at all.
