Jaxton has been hunting with me for quite a while now and has killed many hogs and a handful of deer as well on private land. I hunt a lot on Ft Hood bc it’s close to home and they have lots of hogs and deer. Jaxton couldn’t hunt on Ft Hood yet but has sat with me and hunted with me many times. This year he turned 9 and took hunters education and can now hunt on Ft Hood. We went out yesterday with the savage 220 planning to do some night hunting when we spotted a hog and made a stalk on it. He made a great shot and hog only ran about 20 yards.
