Looking at a sig sauer sp2022 does anyone have one and do you like it. Right now carrying glock but I started out with a 1911 and I miss the single action. I have owned a sig p229 but while at the gun show tried the trigger on the sp2022 and it was better then other sigs i have had in double action.

I had the 2022 for several years with no complaints. They were in service with a few foreign police forces for a while.

I have a 9mm and my son has a .40 cal. Great guns. 2022 stands for the end of life when the French Police contracted with Sig to build this polymer gun. So in 2022, the intention was for the gun to be done with its useful life.

I wanted one at one time, mostly because it was the cheapest they had. Two years ago you could get one second hand for $350. I'd rather move up to a metal Sig (like most of them are) if I were to get a Sig. If I wanted a cheaper plastic gun, I would look elsewhere. Not that's there's anything wrong with them but it's like buying a Cadillac with cloth seats.
Pass the gravy.

Have one, shot ok, stovepiped some, cleaned it up, shot another 300 rounds and got it broke in, now it’s a great shooter, no cycling problems
