any of yall use these? Which is better mojos or motion ducks version? Seems mojo version is cheaper. I thought I may have read on here that people had ducks flaring off the rods....

Mine works fine, no issues flaring birds. Can’t see it after it sinks. It’s homemade though, PVC, bungee cord, flat washers, small eyebolt and brown paint. Think it cost me $9

Nope. Straight jerk string for me with 2 butt spitters running. Always does the trick. Spreaders are just one more thing you got to haul around, and heaven knows, we already carry enough [censored] around as duck hunters!

I've used the double motion duck for the last few seasons, and I haven't had any uses with it. I like the way it breaks down and stores easily. The way the dekes are attached the rods are about 6-8" bellow the waters surface and where we hunt, especially with all the ripples, there's no way the rods flare birds. Lots more motion than the traditional j3rk rig with all the same effort. Dog friendly as well so that's a win in my book.

Bought 2 of the 4 decoy motion duck spreaders and tried them for the first time last Friday. So far I like them for all the advertised reasons; good motion and easy to carry and setup. Couldn’t see the rods where we hunted, although with the right conditions I guess it could be a problem.

Amazon just delivered the motion decoy spreader. It looks great, well built. I think it will work really good. Deffiantly recommend it.

I bought the double motion looking forward to the season, bought a couple kayak anchors to hold them in place

I've been using the motion ducks for a couple of seasons, maybe three. I use a regular jerk rig when needed on ponds and the spreader on big water. No doubt it works great. The only problem I have is that the ends of the rods have all started to splinter. Got some electrical tape toward the ends of about half of them now. It's a good piece of change for what amounts to a bunch of tent stakes all bungied together.

Whether ducks can tell a difference between it and a regular jerk rig, who knows? But the spread and the motion sure seem way more realistic to the human eye.
