Fun fishing with a friend and pond management all at the same time. Don't get much better than that.

Very nice!

That spinnerbait looks like one of the old Manns "Classic" spinnerbaits designed by Hank Parker. One of my all time favorites but they demand a pretty good premium now so most of mine are put away for safe keeping until "I need them" LOL. The "Ti Classic" has gotten almost impossible to find and brings about double what the standard Classic is selling for now. Both models use a very thin shaft that throw some incredible vibration. You just have to be careful when boat flipping a fish because if that shaft gets bent to far out of shape it will snap at the head. If that bait is what it looks like I would treasure it. One of the best ever made!

Been bass fishing for 45+ years could be a Mann's Classic I just change out the skirts when they get beat up. A white spinner bait in any tank is deadly.

Been working at it for 7 years and it's paying off. Have to add plenty of bait fish, bluegill and red eared pearch. Also have to feed the catfish.

Looks like a blast angus!!
Not to mention nothing is better fried up than those bass are!

I didn't put any bass in my two tanks for fear they'd eat everything out. Mine are smaller than yours at a little over a 1/4 acre and a little under a 1/4. They are about 8' deep on the small one and 10' on the bigger one. I have them plumb full of hi-bred cats though and they are pretty aggressive and will hit a rattle trap and even a spinner bait. They eat really, really good. Nothing better than straight from the tank into 325 degree peanut oil!

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Yes, it takes time, but worth it.

My Brother loves to come up and spend a few hours on our 'fish pond'. It's only a couple of acres in size....but fun to fish.

I put a lot of fathead minnows and coppernose bluegill in it for the Bass.

We have a lot of 4-5 lb bass in it (and larger). From time to time we need to remove some of the larger ones.

Pond fishing is mostly a matter of being there when they are biting and using the right lure(s). It's not like you have to 'find them' they aren't going anywhere.

Spartans ask not...how many, but where!

My grandmother used to make coubion with black bass. Man, what I wouldn't give for a bowl of that.
