First time cooking on the rotisserie. I’ve had the grill a year and finally put the rotisserie together today. It’s got an infrared burner on the back. I ran it on high, having zero knowledge of how it would work and cook, I watched it about every 30 minutes and was shooting for internal temp of 140. Well we hit 180, I think, my digital thermometer was dead and the dial thermometer seems to have spun so I’m not really sure.

I didn’t let it rest long enough because of a hungry toddler. All the juice ran out and it got kind of dry. Flavor was good though and the spawn demolished it.

Wife made sweet potatoes with garlic and other spices. They were excellent.

Going to get a basket for the rotisserie and try making some wings next week.

Weber with rotisserie add on?

An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

Looks good. My go to pork loin rotisserie is cover with dijon mustard and then cover in crushed pepper corns. Makes a great crust.

Sounds good. I’ll try that next time.

Made tacos tonight with the left over, and a quesadilla for the kid. Street corn was the side dish. No idea what peppers we are growing, the little ones were damn spicy, the bigger one was just bitter, but I think I pulled it too early because it’s supposed to sweet heat.

I'd be all over that! Minus the tortilla, since I'm on a diet now LOL. Love good street corn.
