I thought that but I am thinking that's for state rather than federal income theft.

Texas has no state Income taxes

Texas was extended due to the Ice Storm

I just left my CPA and dropped mine off, Texans have until June 15th

I procrastinate a lot of things, but not my taxes. When my tax lady sends out her annual email I get the crud together asap and send it to her.

I paid mine months ago so I wouldn't have to think about it anymore. I'm done investing and have cashed out, so it's irrelevant to me if I keep the liquid longer. I'd rather get it over with and then think about when I'm going to run my trotlines next.

I had my stuff to the CPA Jan 15th and I liked the number and did not want to see if they would change their mind. Check cleared 04/10 lol

Taxes done Sunday. I severely underestimated the amount due. Sending in a bunch of money for 2021 next week. To answer your question Creekrunner at this point in my life I play defense, getting it out of the way is more important than trying to get a return on it.

Paid last of ours couple months ago. Old school method, built an Excel work book. Usually owe a few hundred bucks. Had a $17 penalty this year, but is what it is.

I am really getting tired of see my money wasted. Heck, I got mad yesterday at Kroger standing in front of the bacon display case.

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

Last year was a first for me. Paid in October, got a couple hundred dollar "over payment" refund check in January, then got a "insufficient payment" bill for less than $100 in March.
