Some of us missed the point.
'Always heard about it. I've never tried it. You are kidding us, right? How rich were you growing up? If not, what a simple, gratifying pleasure to have missed out on. Start this up with your grandkids and catch up. Guess you've never made a milk shake without ice cream either - whole milk (of course), raw egg, powdered chocolate, mix up and enjoy.

Back in the 60's we used Redskin peanuts in a DP or RC cola.

In south Georgia as a kid, the only things my Grandpa was hooked on was RC cola and moon pies. He was a rural mailman, and got them for the ride back home after work!!

Brings back a great memory. Every time my step dad and I drove to our deer lease we stopped at the Town and Country in Sterling City. I'd get a chimichanga, Dr Pepper, and peanuts. He'd get 2 corn dogs, Coke, and peanuts. We'd eat our food then dump the peanuts in our soda bottle and drink that the last part of the way to the lease north of Bronte. This was in the mid 90s, he was born in 45 and had done it since he was a kid.
