My wife uses the waffle maker as a "panini" press when making sandwiches for the grandkids. Pretty neat little sandwiches.

I like that idea.
I knew a guy that spent a semester in college who used a waffle iron as his only means of cooking. leftover pizza, scrambles, panini's, he did everything in a waffle iron.
