I was in WalMart the other day and noticed all the SD cards now include a much smaller, TF card that apparently plugs into a traditional SD card. So someone help me out here. What's the reason behind adding a TF card to a traditional SD card? I understand the TF card can be inserted into a cell phone, so does it allow you to view photos taken by your game camera on your cell phone without the need for an adapter and app? It seems these TF cards carry a lot more storage capacity than traditional SD cards. What's the chances of the card capacity being incompatible with your game camera?
TIA

So long as the micro card's capacity matches your camera's capacity, a micro card in an adapter is interchangeable with standard SD cards. For example, if your camera will handle a 32GB SD card it will handle a 32GB micro in an adapter. If your camera uses a micro card without an adapter you will need the adapter to view the card using your computer's standard SD slot.

The micro cards makes it much easier to drop and lose them when changing out cards . I guess they did not think the camera would be used outdoors with grass and weeds around it . And who would have thought it would be cold during hunting season and you would have gloves or cold fingers trying to hold the little card .

I could see it being near impossible to find one in tall grass.
