Same with buying used.

I hate to say what I am about to pay for a 2019 Ford Lariat with 28K on it. This time last year I could have bought a fully loaded gently used F150 Platinum for around $30k.

Do you get several happy endings with that?

Not if you shop at Grapevine [insert brand] Auto Dealership. It's dry and rough over a barrel.

Grapevine Ford was terrible. I HATE that dealership. They embody all the bad cliches and stereotypes of a car salesman. Does not surprise me they tack on $10k for fun. F them!

So basically I bought a 2019 F350 STX model for 1/2 price 25 months ago. I feel really good about that deal!

Agreed, never purchased from them for trucks, did buy my wife's Previous car there from the Lincoln side and it went well. I went there to have my sync upgraded to 3.0. Their service department is top notch and if anyone needs a great service writer PM me.

I have been looking at newer Durango's and Buick Enclaves for a while now and they just keep going up up in price. Nothing wrong with the wife's suv except the Nitro is a tad small and my 3500 is a tad too big for a everyday run around.New ? we don't drive enough to warrant a new vehicle just a couple years old is fine.

Friend of mine takes his 2017 King Ranch F250 w 48k miles in for trade

They offered 64k on the spot👀

He went home and did the kbb cash offer and was offered 66k from another dealer

He originally paid 55k for it🧐

The big freeze also caused a huge problem in the production of the plastic parts in todays vehicles.

Free money places are not where the supply chain is jacked up.

To be determined

I will keep driving our beaters. Will not pay that kind of money.

By the way the new Dodge 1/2 ton has zero room in the cab. What were they thinking...? No leg room.

Yup my 2017 KR is paid off, but I love the no payments and mine is pristine,...why trade now? The 2022's will have the huge screens...but still who wants more debt, I am almost liiquid!

I'm giving some serious thought about selling my 2017 F250 KR. It's got 90k miles but it looks like I could get almost $60k for it. I only paid $64k for it new.

I'm so thankful I purchased my retirement vehicle last October. I'd be kicking myself if I had waited until now.
