Our GMC dealer has a total of 2 new trucks and 3 SUV's on the lot.

The Chevey and Ford dealerships have around 10% of their normal inventory.

It's the same way at our Toyota dealership. I am looking at getting a new truck and there was 1 Tundra and 2 Tacoma's. There were several used ones and they wanted just as much for them as the new ones.

I'm about to trade in my 2015 GMC 2500 Duramax for $8k less than what I paid for it 6 years ago. It's absolute insanity right now.

One of my clients traded in his 2015 F350 with a 92,000 miles on the odometer for a new Tahoe and got $44K for it.

When I went through Brownwood in April on the way to the lease I noticed that the GMC dealership had very few cars in the lot I think it’s the same way in Ballinger.

My Uncle bought a F150 two years ago and has a offer from a dealership as of a month ago for $40,000.

Been that way for months and has been talked about frequently here. If your buying new now you're getting hosed.

I checked a few sites for the price of my Wrangler and it's the same as I paid for it. 1 year 2 months old, 10k miles.

* Not interested in selling - was just curious.

A new one is now $80k+ if it is loaded so that trade-in doesn't seem that to far off to me if this was a Powerstroke.

Track homes are selling for upwards of $300/sf now in some areas and I've heard houses near or on the water on Padre are $400-$600/sf now.

There is a shortage of Dodge Ram trucks as well. I've been shopping for weeks. I let a good deal get away here a few weeks ago thinking I would get a better price...wrong. Our dealer is about out. Mineola Dodge said they usually have about 150 trucks. They had two a few days ago.

Thanks to Doc Horton's suggestion that keeps me out of an airplane, I supposedly have a deal pending on one from KY to be shipped. I put a credit card deposit on it and the paperwork is in the works. They just had me send license and insurance scans, so looking good so far.

And my nephew just bought a 2021 Silverado 4d 4x4 1500 with the duramax in it for $44k brand new. Granted, it is not the LTZ or High Country but I thought he still got himself a smoking good deal on it.
