For me personally, I want to see a price in an ad. Seems like your ashamed of your pricing or too lazy to type it in. Doesn't mean thats the case. Neither one gives me a warm fuzzy feeling about booking. I would suggest that if its a fair price then you're likely to get more responses if you post that. Good luck.

For me personally, I just love seeing the photos of the animals still in the hay barn waiting to be turned loose the day before the guy shows up to kill it.

There is alot of that on this site, straight from the auction barn to the "bargain" barn for some "lucky hunter"

There ought to at least be a price on the animal posted, even if its dead or alive. A PM or conversation could discuss what else you need and the price attached to that, for instance food/lodging, a guide, borrow a rifle, skin/quarter, etc. Put a price and say plus amenities. As for MAP's comment about the "animals still in the hay barn", it is what it is and most people know that when they get into it. How many times has somebody asked "what's it score"? However, I can't tell you how many times I see an animal advertised that was just sold at the sale barn, wildlifebroker or other website, or even offered to me just a day or two ago. It's not hard to know what it really cost and when the price is inflated exponentially you have to ask "why" and "what is somebody getting for that mark-up". It's a business and such is life. No offense is meant to the OP but with only 8 posts maybe they can take the constructive criticism and work a better ad. I admit my guys have threw up a picture that they got from someone else, maybe even before the animal is at the ranch, and the picture should have been discarded because it didn't portray something well. A mistake or oversight can happen. When you are new it is even more important to start on the right foot. The original poster might have a great opportunity for someone and they should make an effort to be transparent and provide a good ad. Even the quality of photos matters. Do we really need the caveat "serious inquiries"? Why else would someone call. You can't be serious if you don't know the price first.

JABhunting is correct. I will not call a place to find out the price.
You are new here, therefore people are going to be a little more careful booking with you
than if you had been on here for a while and had references from other members.
State in your ad:
1. what the guide will do. Just drop you off at a stand,
sit in the stand with you, field dress your animal or skin and quarter it for you.
2. If you are advertising lodging, show some photos of it.
3. Photos of animals in the field or under feeder.....NOT in stall in the barn.
4. Price of hunt. If you are hunting several animals, the price of each one if different.
5. You are doing right by stating the number of acres and that it is high fenced.
6. No need as stated earlier, for "serious inquirers only." Talk to anyone, they may want to
come after all the Covid stuff is over. Or they may tell someone that you took the time to
talk with them and answered all their questions, but the hunt just was not for them.

My first thought as well.

That Ram is hardly a trophy, I raise Dall and that would bring me about 400 at auction. Theyare mostly domesticated livestock these days and need to be in the wild a while to become game animals. I do believe the OP has a website with pricing that he should post. Its nice country for hunting around Harper.

Tell your friend, absolutely not. However my place is 10x the size of 146 acres. On 146 acres, there isn't much room to 'wander around'. The 'hunter' could sit on the front porch and drink his/her coffee or cocktail waiting for the elusive quarry to slip up on the feed bucket.
