Just another stupid redneck kinda thing to do that makes em cool!

We have a ton of little redneck wannabes in a small town near us and I get a good laugh at least once a week. All of them drive dodge diesels it seems and all evidently don't know that the mirrors actually fold in on them! roflmao
What is funny is how many of these HS redneck wannabes have these big diesel trucks and don't even own a 16' bumper pull trailer much less one that actually is big or heavy enough to warrant having a diesel!
But they sure know how to make it blow black smoke when they take off from a stop sign.
eek2

1987 wants its chrome back

Looks a hell of a lot nicer than all that blackout BS every kid is putting on their trucks now.
And some of those kids are in their 40s and 50s! hahahah lmao

To each his own but IMO all the black is ridiculously ugly as is the flat paint that you see on a lot of the toyotas now.

You older guys remember “Big Pimping Ain’t Easy” have to keep that Trap Money full from they Night Walkers banana

I can’t stand those trucks with the big wide wheels sticking out a foot either, they look retarded to me, ESPECIALLY the ones with the Cali Lean back half where it sits about 4”s lower in the back and the mirrors flipped out when they don’t even own a trailer.

Its simply a generational thing, In my day we went from having low riders to trucks with 15”X15” Weld wheels and 44”s on them and I owned both. The new generation likes wide wheels and Donk’s so go figure, it’s simply showing our age.

I should have said “ off pavement “

About 50% of my time is off pavement so I use that as the standard

True, I don't offroad my truck much at all, I just use my my SxS's for running around my property.

I don't offroad my wife's suburban but it does get driven a lot on county roads, but even on high way 22 to 18 made a huge ride difference.

Whole point of bigger tires is more sidewall and slight rise in clearance

You shouldn’t talk about the La Vernia kids like that grin

We had the same kid’s in high school....lived in a neighborhood on a quarter acre, both parents were accountants, dad drove a Honda Accord and the son wanted to be as redneck as possible, drove a Dodge Cummins 12 valve with a stack coming out of the bed, crusing around with old cinch jeans tucked into his beat up Justin boots, a Randy Rogers concert Tee and a Jupe-Mills feed store hat over his curly mullet-fro

I think the saddest thing of all is some of them actually pulled some pretty hot chicks...

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Yeah, those pretty hot chicks from Smithson Valley were easily impressed.

Smart man. My wife's previous Yukon XL had factory 22's and after she got done with that thing there wasn't a rim left without curb rash all over it. That lady loves to scrape some curbs. Another bad part is one of the wheels cracked....I guess from hitting a pothole. 22's and 45 profile tires aren't a good combo for a woman who loves to make tight turns. bang

I think those big wheels with the shorter sidewall tires look dumb as hell. There is a jacked up ford at a shop here in New Braunfels that is all white....and I mean all white including the underbelly with wheels that have to be even larger than 22" and the sidewall of the tires cannot be more than 4" high. thing looks absolutely STUPID and I would bet the tires, wheels, lift, shocks, etc are well in excess of $10k
