Avon skin so soft... Keeps people away too They swear by this stuff in Africa, even helps with tsetse flies supposedly. I've never tried it. But I have been bitten by tsetse flies. Flying hypodermic needles they are! I think you can order it online, instead of having to hunt down one of those pink Cadillac ladies.

I've tried skin so soft many times and it doesn't work effectively. I just ordered a case of Off Family liquid bottles on eBay this evening. It was so cheap it has to be stolen LOL. I spray my shirt with deep woods before putting it on and then put the Off Family on exposed skin. It isn't greasy and hot like deep woods on your skin. It's odorless too.

I use OFF with Picaridin instead of DEET. The deet gives me a bad headache. The picaridin actually has a decent smell.

Cutter works on coastal B&C vampire skeeters... I've tried everything on the shelf and them bass turds still get me, especially when I'm sweating. I pick up OFF by the case here. I'm actually doing a couple more Euros next week and trading my labor for cases of OFF and Corrosion X LOL.

Working/Fishing on the coast - Repel Sportsman's Max (40% DEET) was the only one I found that would keep everything away without eating your skin lol. Also this stuff will turn some plastic products or stock finishes gummy or gooey so be careful. Sitting in a Deer Stand - Sawyer's w/ Picaridin, almost odorless.

LeonCarr I quit buying deet-based sprays once I learned the benefits of Picaridin. While products that contain it are sometimes marked as being for ticks, it works equally well at repelling mosquitos. It's my "go to" product when wind makes the ThermaCell far less effective.

I hunkered down and waited my last batch out. Cabin fever. Thanks for the reminder. It is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Avon skin so soft... Keeps people away too My sister used to be a dealer or peddler as I called her and she sent me some of that in a green can that has sunscreen in it too. Doesn’t work too bad at all. The only thing I don’t like is mosquitoes drive me insane because they fly all around your head but don’t land. It’s not unscented, they lie

Based on my own experience, a ThermaCell is 100% effective with when winds are calm. Not so much otherwise.

Based on my own experience, a ThermaCell is 100% effective with when winds are calm. Not so much otherwise. This is accurate. The mosquitoes here at the coast will still swarm you in pretty stiff winds. They are horrible right now after the rains we got last week.

Avon skin so soft... Keeps people away too Doesn’t smell that bad. Years ago there was an outbreak of Buffalo gnats at Cedar creek lake. These things bit and left welps. You had two choices - skin So Soft or a bee keepers suit.
