That is what I started reloading for the 30-30. You can load some pretty good ammo with it but it is slow but can teach one about reloading. There was a thread about them a while back.

Started loading with a 243, then bought a 7mm Mag target loader back in the 70's. Bought a scale and loaded Hunting rounds only. Accurate but slow as mentioned. Good lessons in reloading learned!!

I have a few of those but only used the 30-30 one. If all you're doing is reloading hunting ammo once year you can't go wrong for the price. Tapping them together with a short piece of 2x4 makes for interesting conversation with whoever is watching.
I started with one of those in the early 80's. Had one in .45acp and one in .44 mag. It was slow but I was trucking local and had a lot of time waiting for dock doors. I could load enough during the week to shoot on Saturday. Got a LEE Turret press in the late 80's and started buying components and stacking deep. Wife once asked why I kept buying more bullet stuff. I told her "Because one day I may not be able to". The day draws near. I pulled out a box of 50 CCI 22 mag with a Western Auto price tag of $4.63 and showed it to my son a while back, he just said dayum!!
Started with Lee Loader in .222 in the late 60's. Probably loaded close to 300 rounds of mostly 60gr SP for yotes and whitetails with it. Moved to a Lee bench press in mid 70's and still use it today to load for my .223 Wylde and 6.8.

Wandering through a sporting good store about 55 years ago I ran into these and the employee there gave me some pretty good details of how to load and what to use for a 30-30. I walked out with the dies, a hundred primers and a pound of IMR3031.. That was my start into reloading and it did so good for me that I moved on to more modern stuff and have loaded my own ever since with RCBS equipment.
