Any Lubbock area folks in here, specifically Floyd or Crosby counties? Needing someone local that can provide a legitimate market appraisal on some family land.

Look it up on Lands of Texas ------------- just put your county and it will show what others are selling.

That's kinda like getting a price of a gun from Gunbroker.

A good qualified ranch broker can give a better estimate of what it'll bring.

Probably wouldn't hurt to get a licensed real estate appraisal.

Being that it is family land I would assume it is not small so a Certified Residential or Liscensed appraiser is out as we are not qualified by credentials. I do not know anybody out that way but will check my sources and see what I find.

I just looked up Floyd county -------------2 pieces for sale, one is $800 an acre, the other is $1000 an acre. This will give you an idea of what to expect.

Call West Texas Appraisal in Abilene. Ranches, farms and ag business is the only appraisals they do.

If you use a local bank ask who they use.

They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason! nidea
