4 out of 5 pair have little ones 7 being the most and 3 in the least. It is amazing how fast they grow The group of 7 are about the size of teal and they get out on the water and try to take off from there learning how to fly it is hilarious to watch

`Tough life for baby Gooses. One was missing yesterday afternoon. The water in the tank is very low and they are spending too much time on the ground where most of the danger is. Had 4 now 3. See what today brings. All the baby gooses are gone. Nature is tuff. Especially on the young.

Dang Don K, you are so correct that life is hard. We have geese on several ponds and lakes around here and I have yet to see a baby this year. The big lake usually has 15 to 20 broods and every pair of geese I saw Saturday didn't have any with them. I know they are having bad hog problems there and suspect they are hitting the nests.

Must be bad for a lot of gooses around here this year. A few days ago there were 5 pair here. They would not have been here if they had little gooses.
