After going with the Blackstone griddle, I do not think that I will go back to a grill. I'm considering picking up their 17" tabletop model. That would be perfect for the lease. Anything left outside at our place has a very short life expectancy thanks to the [censored] cows.

I’ve had luck with Charbroil, available at Lowe’s. If she can wait until September, the $300 grill will be on sale for $99. Nope I used to buy them, they last about 2 years if your lucky. I grill alot Went to Weber, so far I am impressed

Since we're talking about gas grills it just so happens I'm looking, I want one running on natural gas. It will be on the patio and mostly out of the weather. More concerned about quality and durability than price.

Not much more on cost but gives you a lot more versatility when cooking. We just added one to my arsenal and love it. Street tacos, Philly cheesesteaks, mixed vegetables are all great. Whipped out a big breakfast last weekend on it, 2#s of bacon, hash browns, fried and scrambled eggs...... Now I’m hungry!

Take a look at the dual burner 22” portable model. ...more versatility when cooking. I thought about it. How I arrived at the 17" is that the griddle itself would fit nicely in my larger grill and in my smoker. I don't know that the 22" would fit comfortably/conveniently. You've encouraged me to measure again.

We have to have one & we grill about 3x a week. They last about 3-4 years then I get another. My current model is a Nexgrill. My next one will have an infra-red element to outside crust a thick steak. BTW: My 1st gas grill came from HD & I bought the extended warranty (unusual for me). After about 1-1/2 years the igniter button went out. I called on my warranty to see if they would send me a new igniter. They sent me a refund for the full price of the grill! I then bought an igniter for $15. Happy me, but go figure....

More concerned about quality and durability than price. I have a weber genesis natural gas grill, I have had it since January 2015. I just had to replace the wires for the ignitor. Other than that the grill is in pretty good shape for the humid southeast Texas weather.

I replaced my Gas Grill with a Recteq Bullseye. Works just as well and gives a little extra flavor to the meat. This is my go to grill during the week and I then use my charcoal grill on weekends.

I like the Weber Spirit II. It's small, two burners, so it heats really quickly for searing steaks or chicken. Also uses less propane, a tank lasts a long time. It has heavy grates inside. Mostly, it's just me and my wife these days but I can cook enough for six at one time on it. They run about $400 and will last about seven or eight years. Most of the big box stores carry them.

More concerned about quality and durability than price. Stay away from Napoleon. I did a lot of research into grills before I bought my Blaze. The Napoleon is not a good quality stainless and will rust and fall apart quicker.

Still using my stainless Weber Genesis after 10 years. I did replace the burners and grates this year. Should go another 10.

I don’t use my anymore. I picked up a charcoal grill two years ago and parked the gas grill. Is it a pain some times to fire up the charcoal? Yes it is, but it’s a much better end product.

I have to admit, the Weber will hold up.
There is a brand that Lowes sells that you can actually cook on and not burn everything to he........ll and back. They will not last as long as a Weber, but they sure do cook good. It may be lowes house brand for all I know. I have bought two of them from the Lowes in Jasper for my place at Sam Rayburn. They last about 5 years give or take and they are Stainless. I light two burners, move my ribs to the side. Fire up one of those pellet tube smoker things throw it on there, drink beer and cook ribs. Not as good as a stick burner, but good enough for easy.
Thanks, Billy

Gas grill Just wait until you get as old as I am. You'll be laughing out of the other side of your month. I'm not sure I can wait on charcoal.

Like someone else said I buy mine on clearance at the end of the summer. They go on some pretty big sale. Charbroil so far has lasted me about 5 years a grill. I burn more propane than the grill costs.
