Choke has been my favorite fishing lake since it opened. Getting tougher to fish now that I don't have a boat anymore. The weeds are choking up the shore line now that its warming up. Went again this morning. No Javi's, got a quick glimpse of some turkeys but no photos. Came home with 7 pretty large. Coppernose bluegills.

they've got some serious teeth for their size for sure. surprisingly not bad eating. sort of laborious to clean for not being very big.

Give me a holler. I fish Choke when I can. Be happy to have a back seater in the boat.
