I have this Redfield on a rifle that was just handed down to me. Great rifle, Remington Mohawk 600 in .308. The scope is a newer Redfield, 3-9 x 40. We took this scope out of the box about 6-7 years ago, mounted, bore sighted and proceed to shoot a great group. My dad took it home, put it away and hasn't been out of his closet until he gave it to me. I want to hunt with this rifle and need more magnification. Are these still made? Are they made by Leupold? ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2021/05/full-53199-293380-img_7524.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2021/05/full-53199-293381-img_7525.jpg)
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

Leupold just sold Redfield Scopes to Academy.
Great little scopes, we have a few. Leupold will warranty the scopes made and sold by them.

One of the first rifles I hunted with was my Dad’s Remington 700BDL with a wide angle 4x Redfield. A lot of deer were looked at through that scope and several made it to the table. Good memories.
