I’ve never been a huge fan of Jeeps, but when we were on vacation recently, we took a jeep tour in Zion Nat’l Park. Sounds simple, but the Jeep driver took us some places that I REALLY didn’t think were possible. Inside my head I was saying “no no no, let’s not go there”. But we went there. That dang Jeep was a rock climbing son of a gun. And I’m not talking small rocks.

I have a much greater appreciation for Jeep capabilities.

And if folks there didn’t have a Jeep, they had Razrs and such as that.

They are easy to be worked on without power tools.

The Jeep tour drivers have no fear, those guys can scare you on flat ground in the middle of a desert.

I used to own a jeep, and yeah. I was simply amazed at the places that I could take that thing.

And just think, most jeep tours go on pretty easy trails to someone that really wheels. It really is amazing what a vehicle can do off-road.

I used to be into Jeeps and small Toyota trucks for off road rigs. Now I have a RZR and it was simply amazing in the rocks. Walked over everything I pointed it at and never had an issue with traction unlike the previous vehicles. It was also a much smoother ride that allowed us to cover a lot more ground than a Jeep
