Here would be fine unless your selling or looking to buy a hunt. Then it would need to be posted in outfitters and guides.

You going gator hunting?

A licensed hunter may kill 1 alligator per year on PRIVATE Property in a non core county. The season runs April 1st through June 30th I believe. After the kill u must fill out a wildlife resource document and sent it along with $21 to TPWD within 72 hours. They in turn will mail you a tag.

Forgot to add. You must also send TPWD the alligator hide tag form. They have a PDF on their website.

I’d call TPWD in Austin to get the correct info.

We did a trip where they made us boots, a wallet, and a belt. It was okay. I thought it would be more exciting but if you just ease the gator up its over quick. I won't do it again.

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

Never hunted them in TX but when I was stationed in FL with the USN I used to go after them. This one was 9'8"

Good information. Sounds like you have some relevant experience here in Texas.

An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.
