High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Glad to see south half of Texas getting a good drink for next several hours!
We're 'FULL' up north - got 4-5 inches over last few days at my place - all ponds full now.

Rained on me all the way from Carrizo Springs to Hondo and up thru Bandera.

The area around Batesville got a pretty good soaking.....saw a guy in a tractor having to pull out a lineman who got stuck in his bucket truck.

Also saw a couple of pivots flipped over.....probably from the storm the other night they produced lots of hail

Been a Godsend!

What part of the country are you in?

Same here.

Most of what we got soaked right in. It came over several hours, and didn't run off much.

It's getting pretty saturated now though. wink

Approaching 6 inches.

6 1/2" over the last 3 days. And more on the way later. Comal County.

Well we finally got it.
We had our biggest single day total of rain Friday since October of 2009.
We got 4.7" Friday evening and then Saturday in the early afternoon we got an honest to goodness Texas Turd Floater. We got 3" in about 45 minutes and 1.5" of that fell in just 15 minutes.
So we had a 24 hour total of 7.7" which is the best we had since at least 2006 when I started keeping detailed records on a spreadsheet.

This is a small creek about 3/4 mile from us which is normally dry except for where a few bigger holes are in it. This is the west side of the FM rd where it backs up until it can flow under the bridge.

Here is the east side where it flows through into one of my cousin's cow pastures.

And this is our small stock pond on our place. If you look close you will see a white PVC pipe sticking up. That is normally the bank line. LOL
I've never seen it anywhere near this full in the 11 years we've had our place. I had 10 lb catfish swimming in what is normally grass around the well. lol

All I can say is thank you Lord for such a huge blessing. As one of my other cousins said to me Saturday, this was a multi-billion dollar rain for our area as the corn crops were probably less than a week from burning up.

Absolutely true!

After feeding my cattle about every bite they ate for 2 years, I'm sure glad to get some help from above!
