Looking for a low mileage 4x4? Here you go...

It will probably sell for $30K, maybe more.

I had one I bought new that was identical to this one, only it was 2wd. It had the 460 also, passed everything but a gas station.

I must be really out of touch, $30K for a 26 year old truck.

Truck prices are even dumber than home prices right now. I bought my 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie 4x4 with the Cummins in 2015 with 15,000 miles for $42,000. I still see them listed for $40,000-$45,000 and with 150,000+ miles.

I don’t know but if I ever sell it I’ll let you know, have my grandfathers truck identical to it with 9500 miles on it sitting in the shop.

Maybe not...it's virtually NOS. Would you rather pay $30K or $60K-$70K for a late model. Its a pretty easy answer if you ask me and I'm not even a Ford fan.

What are your thoughts on a vehicle that has been sitting virtually unused for that long? I'd love a pickup like that, but I'd be worried about reliability issues. I'm not an expert, but I know that my chainsaws, for instance, don't like sitting around. They're function better, the more they are used.

I would have no issues as long as regular maint has been performed. From reading the auction listing is does appear that maint has been performed.

My stock 87GN is 33 years old and runs like a beast. Of course I'm fighting father time on rubber and plastic parts but these where never meant to last forever. I recently replaced the fuel pump (out of caution) and when we inspected the fuel tank it was spotless inside.

I had a 1980 F150 with the 300 inline 6 and 4 speed with granny. You could put it in 4lo and 1st gear and get out and walk beside it as it climbed a hill. Buddy got in it to back up my boat trailer. When he got to the ramp he he said "you know that truck will start without depressing the clutch." I said yep.
