Here in S. Texas!

Soon!

And plenty of it.

Deer are tearing the supplemental feeders up.

Bucks growing antlers. Does getting heavy with fawns...

Everything could use some green stuff.

How's your places looking? You guys still feeding?

Erath County. Nice early green-up has saved a few coins on the overuse of protein feeders so far. New bone showing on the bucks and the does look like they're carrying triplets (so big). Turd floater about to hit now so hoping we can carry some decent browse fairly deep into summer before they start eating us out of house and home. Good luck!

Most of Texas needs rain badly. Looks like we have a pretty good chance in the next couple of days.

Bad timing on this thread. North Texas got a lot of rain today. Between all the problems on the border and the lack of rain, Im glad Im outa STx.

Tornado warning here, mainly for south San Antonio. Tennis ball size hail. Got the truck in the barn, finally. Man I gotta get rid of some crap!

Bowie in Montague County has gotten wet with over 4 inches and more coming today. I was going to head there today to see how things are. However, it looks like more light stuff will be coming most of the day.

Ponds were down about 3 ft and this ought to cure a lot of that.

For you guys wishing for the rain to stop, don't!

I've only gotten a touch over an inch total in the last week where some within 2 miles of me are well over 2.5". It is great to get some but to be deep into spring and still struggling to get grass going in the pastures is not good.

I'd much rather have to check cows with mud boots on every day and try and find a few days of dry to lay down grass to bale than NOT have any to cut!

Stock tanks in our area are really, really low and in other areas southwest of us are down to mud or even dry. Not a good way at all to enter summer.

Sure wish we could send you some from East Texas. I still have wet areas in my garden from last weeks rain, and we are under a flash flood watch starting today.

South Texas is bad bad dry. Tanks are low or dried completely up, low brush is burned from freeze.

Hill country looks good, Oaks are a little slow comming on but still much greener than down south

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

The blizzard set back the huisache a bit, but even it is starting to come out now.

I thought my ranch was dry until I shredded a ranch over by Cuero this week. It looked like the dead of winter. Bare ground.

Erath is green as green can be like mentioned earlier. Already seeing good antler growth on bucks, and they continue to hit the protein feeders along with the natural browse

Boy would that country pop with 1.6" on it.

I've always been amazed how fast it responds to a nice soaker down in that country.

Hope yall get it!!

Having lived here in the brush country for all my life, I can relate to the response time for the grasses and brush. Keep in mind however that it can turn back to brown or bare just as fast.

Wound up with 4 inches South of Bowie. Needed it badly. More is supposed to come in the next couple of days.
Even with that, the ponds/tanks/ water holes didn’t completely fill. Been dry a long time.
