Hey all,

I have a family trip to Galveston towards the end of May. All my bay guides are 1.5+ hours away. I'm not opposed to making that drive and have found an opening with one of them, but I'm wondering if I can find something closer to Galveston.

Any recommendations?

Foster guide service is very good. I know Joe and have fished with him great guy. I also have a couple others. If you want pm me and I can get you contact info. His website says Matagorda, but he fishes a ton in west bay. FYI most guides throw plastics and live bait is extra. Also, depending on what you wanna target some guides focus in on a certain species more than others. If you’re specifically looking for reds. I know a guy and that’s all he targets in the area your talking. His primary area is East Bay to Nicks Lake (surf side), but usually doesn’t have to farther than West Bay.

Also, I’m now out on the water just about every weekend. I don’t have a big boat but you’re more than welcome to tag along. If it’s the weekend of the 22nd I’m fishing in POC.
