My wife bought for me a new rifle over the weekend. It's a Benelli Lupo in 300WM. To say I'm excited is an understatement. Now, if I can find some ammo I'll be shooting it as soon as I can. Hopefully I'll leave some comments here on how it handles.

Congrats. Academy in north San Antonio actually had 2 boxes of Hornady match grade 300WM behind the counter a couple of weeks ago. I bought one for my stash.

Very nice looking rifle. I noticed that it weighs 7.1 lbs has a threaded muzzle, I would strongly consider installing a brake on it. A 7lb 300 WM will put a hurt on you if your not accustom to it. I have a Savage LRH 300 WM that I dearly love, it weighs 9 lbs w/o scope and I've shot it with the brake turned off. Its manageable but I much prefer shooting it with the brake turned on. Also, make sure the scope you put on it has plenty of eye relief, don't ask me how I know.

Better yet, tell her the recoil is awful and you’ll eventually need shoulder surgery unless she gets you a suppressor

Recoil was something I was concerned about. I have a Browning x-bolt 300 that wasn't bad at all, shot mostly 150 gr out of it. The Benelli comes with spacers so it can be adjusted to the shooter. I'm putting a Bushnell Elite on it this week. Hope to have a report for yall soon.

GREAT CHOICE !!!

Brake would be nice, suppressor better

as long as it doesn't look like a tumor hanging off the barrel. Gun has Ferrari lines, no need to mess that up.
