Picked up a pro 575. Well see how it does. Got it seasoned and just put some bacon wrapped pork tenderloin on. One is stuffed with jalapeño and cream cheese. Other is stuffed with shrimp and sausage. Then I’m making some potatoes with bacon green onions and cheese. So far it seems decent. It should make a good addition to the kamado. I’ll mainly use it for quick grilling of burgers and dogs. And to also use it as an oven for cooking sides when my main grill is full. Which has happened a lot lately. We don’t have an oven in the house which is what prompted me to buy this. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2021/04/full-46861-292558-c7ccf072_1157_4a5e_adbc_dd9a7c7813c5.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2021/04/full-46861-292559-327f3f49_acf0_486f_9d0c_f702a6c72a87.jpeg)

I have the 780 Pro and love it, you will wish you had the 780, I even run out of room on mine and I have a lower and upper rack. They cook and smoke really well. Try to reverse sear some 2 inch ribeye or porterhouses on it, pretty amazing stuff. That Treager is a tool like any other tool, you have to learn how to use it if your going to smoke with it, don’t pay much attention to Treager recipes and cooking times and temps.
Best part is the WiFi control and temp probe, changing cooking temps when your on the lake or in the blind is priceless.

But this won’t be used to cook steak or smoke. I really like my Komodo for that and have it down imho. But for quick stuff and doing sides I think this will be perfect.

A few months ago I bought a pellet grill (not Trager) based on a friends recommendation. I am still amazed on how good it cooks. That’s meal you have looks absolutely delicious.

That made me so hungry! No oven in the house? I thought I was the only one. About to redo a little kitchen in this farm house and I'm thinking of doing just a cook top and no oven. Its just me and mama and we really don't need a big oven. Much rather have a Trager anyway.

So our kitchen consists of three lower cabinets. Three sections of upper cabinets and a sink. No I’ve or cook top. I’ve got my two grills now. We have have an electric griddle for in the house and I bought a cheap two burner electric cook top deal to use with pots that can be put away in a cabinet.

Meats, potatoes, pizza and the like are great.
