I've been mulling over the decision to renew my NRA membership. Granted, the organization has seen some recent issues but I keep coming back to how greatly the Democrats despise the organization and its members. That in itself seems to be enough reason to renew for at least another year.

Thoughts?

Waste of money imo, but to each their own.

Until we have an organization that has the money and will to fight for our gun rights besides them, THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION AT THIS TIME IMO........

How can you fight for our 2A rights from yachts overseas? WLP and a few of his buddies have made a mockery out of the NRA.

Still the only game in town. And very few organizations are under the pressure and scrutiny they are under. Very few publicly traded companies could survive half the scrutiny they are under.

I'm a life member so I can't leave/quit - but I sure as hell want Lapierre gone. Especially after hearing today that the entire bankruptcy/Texas move thing wasn't even proposed to the board..I don't understand why they don't remove him themselves.

Charlton is rolling in his grave over what these people have done to our NRA.

As much as it sickens me, I have to agree with this. The team members of the organization do know the ropes and how to lobby and get things done.

How many members does the 2nd Amendment Foundation have? Political clout is measured by membership numbers. The NRA has 5.5 million members.

You do not have to be an NRA member only. I doubt they have 5.5 million members today. The 2nd Amendment Foundation has been involved in many lawsuits fighting for all firearms owners. Check it out. https://www.saf.org/category/news/

I searched their website and They did not list their membership numbers only the percentage increase of younger members.
