Where I live I have neighbors too close to shoot a high power rifle or a even feel comfortable shooting shotgun slugs. Any advice on crossbow broadheads? I have a Killer Instinct crossbow that my daughter shoots the lights out with. We have used Grim Reapers for her hunting white tail deer but wondered about hogs due to the thickness of skin etc.

I'm using Muzzy Trocar for hogs. Granted I haven't shot a hog with it yet. I think a fixed broadhead would give you better performance on hogs.

Sonic Bolt from American Broadhead. It is 150 grains, flies same as field tip and is like three razor sharp knife blades. I have yet to have one stay in any animal including hogs. Get them at American Broadhead Company on line.

I use 125 grain Muzzy Phantoms on pigs and I highly recommend.

I have been using this one with my crossbow for a few years now and have no intention of ever changing. Pass throughs and it's like shooting field tips of the same weight.

Have used some NAP Spitfires. Hogs bled and died.I need to mount a light on my crossbow.

Cheap fixed broadheads because you will use a few. Allen broadheads are cheap and will do the job.

125 Muzzys work well

Just need to keep them sharpen.

very simple, cheap, and can hear the crack if you hit bone
Shooting 100 now and may switch to 125 if I lose anymore.

Cheaper does sound better for hogs.
