In honor of the upcoming anniversary of the Battle of San Jacinto, we visited the Sam Houston museum in Huntsville. It did not disappoint. In addition to the great museum, the grounds have 11 or 12 homes and/or buildings related to Houston and early Texas. Note the “dog run” construction.
