A very happy 57th birthday to the Ford Mustang, born (or at least publicly debuted) this day at the 1964 NY World's Fair, and star attraction of the Ford Pavilion 'Magic Skyway' ride.

I actually fit in the 2021 Shelby GT 500 at Auto Nation in Frisco, but they still suck as a dealership. I walked around inside and outside looking at Broncos and Explorers

Didn't have ONE MF salesman check on me. Ford is so stuck up, would never buy one

well maybe not bolt

Wow I never knew that. Didn’t know I shared my BDay with the Mustang. That’s actually pretty awesome, maybe that’s why I’ve always liked them. Owned a ‘66 ‘96 and ‘14 Roush

Been casually looking for a 2012, or slightly newer.

As far as I know the 2012 is when the 5.0L came back. Which never should have left in the first place.

I had a 82 Camaro it was a POS, broke down daily.

I did have a 67 and 69 Camaro I drove for a while.

Never liked the look of the Mustang, not sporty enough

I owned and restored and sold a handful of Mustangs several years ago. 68 289 2v 3 speed coupe. 70 351 Cleveland 4V 4 speed mach 1 with a fold down rear seat and drum brakes all around. 2 1971 mach 1 351 Cleveland 4V C6 automatic cars. 1971 Boss 351. 1973 convertible with a 408 Cleveland roller stroker. Sold my 2017 GT performance pack 6 speed manual 6 months ago. Still enjoy them from afar.

2015 Kawasaki ZX14r fills the void of my former American muscle hobby these days.

It seems I was perpetually in that stage. When they would get finished or almost finished I’d get bored and start a new project. Had 3 going at one time.

Owned a few Ford trucks but never a Mustang. My last Ford car was a 69 Fairlane with a 390.

I believe that correct, I also believe that’s the last generation of the solid rear axle, if that’s important to you.
