I’m going to say I’m disappointed and it’s upsetting. If that was done during the National Anthem, I will be even more upset. Do you know if it was? If it was, then I will turn it off. Just like I did the NFL when they pulled the same crap.

I hate that politics are involved with sports at all. I also realize people have different political beliefs than me. And that’s fine. I don’t blanket discredit people because of their views or because they are democrats. The fact that we can disagree on things is part of what makes America so great. But to me, kneeling during The Anthem is disrespectful and a slap in the face to America and all that have ever sworn to defend her. That is a step to far. And I won’t stand for it or support it one bit.

I’m not the guy you are hoping I am, Hogslayer. I’m proud to be an American and I love this country. Even as screwed up as it has become over the past 15-20 years.

This year, the only baseball that I've cheered for is the Mariners and the Pirates. The 12 year old pitcher for the Mariners, Chayton, threw a no hitter on Tuesday! And the 16 year old pitcher for the Pirates, Brayden, is so far undefeated on the mound this season. I wish the MLB just stuck to baseball like these kids do. I miss watching my Rangers games.

I do too, and that sounds like fun! I coached my son’s baseball team several years back when he was little and it was an awesome experience.


If I was a betting man I’d say both Chayton and Brayden dream of playing in the bigs some day. I’d also bet if they are lucky enough to land a scholarship to play college ball that you will be right by their side supporting them. Even when you find out that their college gives money and/or has a group that supports blm in some way. You know they almost all do now? Does that mean you agree with blm? Does it mean your boys would for attending that school? Personally, I wouldn’t think so.
