And they are very different from each other! Just had to zero scopes on both of them. Side by side, I thought the pic was funny.

.223 A.I. 80 gr ELD-M
.300 Norma Mag 250 gr A-tip

The .300 has more than triple the powder charge of the .223 A.I.

I would have to have a hydro forming die. No way would I burn all these components to fire form.

Kind of concerned about barrel life as it is. It should make plenty of speed the way it sits.

Dasher is on my radar

I almost bought several Cheytac at SHOT several years ago

due to shortage of dies at the time
I settled for 3 .338 Lapua from 2 different manufacturers

I had a Lee Loader in 300 Norma Mag. Weird enough it brought big bucks on eBay.

Short, accurate and badass...sounds just like me, agreed. I would hunt with one if I didn't mind the longer barrel, they need barrel length to get them going and life is way to short to hunt with a long barreled rifle. I've burnt enough dasher brass and barrels to have a trophy or two wink
