I got a Flowtron bug zapper before I moved to my ranch and used it Benbrook for a summer, I was fairly impressed. This evening I heard a buzzing/humming sound all around my ranch and figured out there had been quite a bug hatch. I have had to blow it off 3 times since dark, due to the caked on dead bugs. The live ones couldn't get to the electrodes due to the dead bodies. I love this thing.

I need to get a new one, my old one burned out. Lots of flying bugs so far but no mosquitos yet.

It is the commercial grade of bug zappers for sure. A cheap one from Wal-Mart would have died tonight for sure.

Do those things really make much of an impact? I know they’re fun, but I don’t know how effective they really are.

That is a bunch of dead bugs.

For the second year we are fighting mosquitoes inside and outside the house. We've lived there 18 years and can't figure out what has changed. No standing water in the attic or around the house. There's always been a little tank out back, across the fence line. If it was flies, I'd blame the neighbor's horses. We're going through cans of fogger spray around the entry doors.

Try some of those Mosquito Dunks. I've been told they help by a couple of people.

It gives off a romantic glow.

My experience with a bug zapper says ya&m are full of crap. I dumped load of mosquitoes out of one during the worse times.

We hang these out also, not sure how good they are but they get great reviews. Ordered those too. We're desperate. There are some propane powered ones out there. Heat and carbon dioxide attract the skeeters and something kills 'em. Never seen one but you could look it up. Or maybe Mr. Oxner will.
