We've probably all experienced photographic anomalies with our Game Cameras over the years.

In this video as the Bobcat approaches the camera, the IR light emitted is partially reflected back toward the camera lens.

The Bobcat (and many other night roaming predators) have a 'tapetum' (reflective layer of tissue behind the retina) that reflects incoming light resulting in better night vision for the animal. This is what causes most of the 'eye shine' we are all familiar with.

Anyway, the camera lens interpreted this as another set of eyes and captured it in a way that makes it look as if another larger animal (second set of eyes behind the Bobcat) was following it. You'll have to look closely.

Of course, the Ghost Image exactly follows the movement of the Bobcats head....so we know its real origin.
