Off your butt and on your feet. Do you lay awake awhile before your feet hit the floor in the mornings? Set an alarm, timer of your coffee maker, take medications? What time? How long before you log on? Eat breakfast? The list goes on. My fingers are tired.

Good morning sunshine. Haste makes waste. I always waited until after breakfast before letting my dogs out back in the day when I kept them in a kennel. I hated cleanings kennels and they trusted me enough to wait,

No alarm. I have tinnitus so have to have some sort of background noise to sleep, so I leave a radio on a news channel at low volume. At 4am the program changes to the morning news so I know it's time to put coffee on. 4 to 5am I sip coffee, have breakfast, and do a few on-line brain teasers to spool up my mind for the day. Hit the shower at 5:00, out the door at 5:30, at the office at 5:45, clear security and go on the clock at 6:00.

It takes me awhile to get my footing in the morning. That is new to me. [Linked Image]

Looks like Slow Drifter has a great morning process. As for me, I plan to do nothing at all today (tired from yesterday).

It really is a beautiful morning...

Let dogs out and wash down kennels first. Then head out the front door to pick up local paper, make coffee, swallow meds, read paper, surf THF, and sip coffee. I hit the shower around 10-11. No big hurry these days.

Woke up at 4;15. Laid in bed until almost 5, turned on the tv, got up to pee and made my coffee. Started work (OT) at 6am and worked till noon. Now I'm doing this.

If the wife is subbing at the local elementary I get her up at 6AM, hunting or fishing I get up around 4:30 or 5:00 AM depending on where I am going. We are both retired, so on days when we have nothing planned we just wake up whenever but usually between 6:00 and 7:00 for me. I really need to start setting an alarm and getting up at 5:00 AM as I think I felt better when I had my body on a set time schedule.

Every morning wake up time is different for me - sometimes 0400 and sometimes 0630. Once awake, sit up in bed for a minute then put coffee on. Then SSS. Then dogs out and fill their feed/water bowls. Think I mentioned in another thread I don't necessarily have to go to the office and can work from home.
