I know you're old, if you remember Mom and GrandMa making these for you. smile The real question is, tho, do you prefer with or without home shelled pecans? How about we just eat a piece of each, to satisfy the hunger!!!

Buttermilk pie has always been, and still is my favorite pie. I've never had it with pecans though. Looks great!

Maybe a scoop of blue bell and if you can get fresh eggs makes the best pies.

That looks awesome. My Mom would always make it for my Dad as it was his favorite pie. I’d say it’s in the top 3 for me too. Looks great, never had it with pecans. food

Sideoats Cafe in Menard served an excellent buttermilk pie. The owner closed up and moved on to bigger and better things. crying

Pecans please, one Grandmother made it with Pecans and the other didn't, both were good though.

]I have plenty of eggs, get 4 to 6 every day from our 6 chickens, might have t make one of these if the wife likes them or has never had one.

My Grandmother used to make them quite often when we were kids, and visiting them in Georgia. Loved them. smile

Hadn't had another until we moved back to Texas in the early 90's, and went to the Blessing Hotel for lunches from work at the nuke plant. Man, those were some awesome, home-cooked meals there!!!
