Exactly. I am continuously amazed at how many people convict others (especially on-line), after only being "accused" of something. Folks are falsely accused of things every day.

Odds are it was consensual at the time, now someone has got in her ear and it’s not consensual.

On these cases I take them with a grain of salt. Seen it too many time a girl cries foul only to come out later she was a scorned lover wanting revenge for some perceived slight

Any reason she waited three years to file against him?

I don’t have an opinion but as Bill proved he is already convicted per public opinion solely based off his last name.

In Texas there’s a defense if It was consensual and there’s less than 3 years age difference.

That’s why I asked. It may not be so cut and dry. But they did have PC to arrest so could be he sexually assaulted her. Maybe her admitted in an interrogation.

I say let the court sort this one out and justice lead it where it may. Not that it matters much in this case but the Armstrong name is not necessarily sterling based on the BS his Dad pulled in the cycling world. Major douche bag deluxe...Time and the courts playing out will tell whether the son has followed in Dad's lying ways. Should be interesting to see it all play out..

When I was 18 or so, I used to fish a lot with a buddy of mine. He was 19 and fell in love with a girl that was 16. She was most definitely in love with him, for some reason. Anyway, her Daddy was a LEO and couldn't stand him because he was a Mescin. He caught him with his daughter and told him "Boy, if I ever see you around my Daughter again. I'm gonna put you away". My buddy and his girl were in love, and everything was definitely consensual. So they blew that off.

A few months passed, and my buddy got caught with his girlfriend in her house, by her Dad. Ruffed him up a little bit (don't blame him for that at all), then arrested him and took him to jail. He then tore into his daughter and told her exactly what she was going to say and do from this day forward.

I have two daughters of my own and I'm pretty protective of them, so I understand.....but what happened to my buddy was BS. He went to jail for a spell for statutory rape, got out and was on probation for years (5 I think). Their relationship was 100% consensual. They even got married a little later, but not before his name & reputation was ruined. Not to mention all of the grief it caused him later trying to get a good job. I tried to help him get some of those good jobs.

Yup.............. I'll let this one play out...................
