I have only hunted Twin Buttes and San Angelo State Park (since I live in San Angelo) but have been thinking of venturing out. Does anyone have a particular Public Hunting Area that they really like, if so why?

There are some decent hunting opportunities in your side of the State. I usually pay attention to hunter success rates and former application numbers depending on my goal. Look into Abilene SP or Brownwood SP.
