I try not to be too conspiracy theory, but dang this is getting silly the number of shootings lately

You really think mass murderers are out there killing innocent people in order to have stricter gun laws?

When the laws affect law abiding citizens, then probably I would not doubt it is the motive of some.

I counted 39 in the last four years of Obama and 65 for 4 years of Trump. I'm sure the conspiracy theorists will justify that it's a conspiracy though. I think it's the internet and smartphones and that folks don't interact with each other much anymore. When I retired and moved back to my ranch, I was shocked when I went to the small town grocery store, and everyone I passed on every isle greeted me and had friendly interaction. Do that in Fort Worth and people will call 911. Technology has created sociopaths IMHO.

I agree, I know people that won't answer their phone, they want their contact to be texting only. It piss them off, because I do not text, they will rant and rave sometimes because did not answer their text.

Too many shoot m up video games.
Bad parenting.
Horrible ISD’s.
Too many meds being prescribed.
Kids need to get off the computer and go outside and do something.
When me n my brother were kids we wanted to know what was on the other side of the next creek.

Those aren't "Mass Shootings" really. Those are mostly domestic or just strait up murders of multiple people at their homes or parties. The big time Mass Shootings like Parkland or the Vegas shooting are the one's I'm talking about. These people are crazy and seeking infamy from their actions. Under trump those type shootings did taper off.

Simple solution...life in prison or the death penalty for any offense involving the use of a firearm.
No Plea Bargains, no deals, life in prison or death.

There are over 20000 Federal Firearm Laws on the books...when is the last time you heard of anybody doing serious time on a federal firearms offense?

RIGHT FREAKING HERE............District attorneys are a huge problem with plea deals. Use a gun in a crime and to jail you go for the rest of your life.

Do you guy s realize what you just said? Any offense using a gun, immediate life or death penalty? You wanna rephrase that a little? You wanna see a bunch of good guy s get taken to prison for life because their crazy spouse turned them in for an illegal gun, or lets say for defending their property like the couple in St Louis where the DA charged them?

Been happening for years. It's all about how high the profile of the case on the publicity it receives. Look at headlines from the 20's. There were a lot more bank robbers than Bonnie and Clyde. Look at the Manson family, would they have made the news if they had murdered a poor family in Kentucky? Crazy has always been around it's just a matter of who wants to talk about it. A hole lot of Indians would say crazy found them as well as a lot of Jews. Difference is governments don't call it murder.
