So, I am in the market for a 40' shipping container for the new place and ran across this company.(Container One) I contacted several companies and most were all around the same price for the same container. This place was about $600 less than the average and have been the most responsive. All sounds good right? Well, I am a bit concerned about buying something that I cant see until its delivered. Thoughts, input? Property is in Bell County, if that matters.

A container is a container... They are generally sold as one-timers or more, watertight y/n, doors on one or both ends, painted, vented, lock boxes, etc. Know your travel/delivery cost.

I see it as relative risk free as long as you have agreement on the spec you want. Ask them to send you a pic and buy with a CC.

I've bought 2 containers, but never without being able to inspect. Like anything else condition is everything. My main concern was condition of the floors and doors, and is it water tight?. You don't want something that'll require a floor replacement a few years down the road. And you danged sure don't want to have and fight to get the doors open and closed. Even after I hand picked mine I had to go back and grease and install grease zerks to get my doors working decent. Just my 2cents

The few places I have seen them for sale it's " come pick the one you want ".I think I would want to see what I was buying.
