He was my aunt's bull and she decided to sell out. Kansas bloodline and about 4.5 years old.
I saw his calves this year and they were very solid and that really sold me on him. And the price was right so that didn't hurt. lol

He is a beast...looks more like a Cape Buffalo without horns than a bull.

I am not wearing red around him lol.

Just my .02,

No doubt fellas he is a big old sonofagun. Definitely bred to throw small calves at birth so that is a plus as I try and keep my cows all on the smaller end. I am just hoping he does not get any bigger or he will be too much for them to handle.

He is a cube hound and I think he can hear me from a 1/4 mile away when I'm getting a bag of 40% cottonseed cubes off the pallet in the barn because it doesn't take long for him to get to the pens. lmao

I also like that although he will come right in he gives you space and respects where you are at. He's not one that you are ever going to rub around on and to me that is a good thing.
He has been handled quite a bit as he was moved from around on several different places with only a few cows at each place so he knows how to act when a gate is closed behind him and someone is holding a hotshot.

Nice. I sold mine to GUTIT a couple months ago. I am trying to get as many of my cows cycled together as I can. When you buy a cow or two at a time, they tend to get strung out. I am going to look at a couple this weekend though.

Yes, that makes it more difficult to get them all bred at the same time for sure.
I like my calves born from late Nov to early January and right now I've got them hitting together.
I do have 3 really nice heifers though that were not ready for the bull this go round and I'm debating whether or not to hold them back another 8 months or so or go ahead and trailer them down to my cousin's place. He has 2 small 2 year old angus bulls at one of his places that would work but I'd really love to have calves from them out of this bull so it is a decision I guess I'll have to make soon or just hold them until they are 2 or a little older before turning him on them.

For sure. Lot of my kinfolk run cattle, and that is where they generally get hurt. Stepped on or squeezed up against a rail or chute.
