Looking for some feedback on these units. I’m in the market for new feeders and wanting to see if anyone has used these. [Linked Image]

Looks really similar to the Academy brand, which I have 3 of. Those varmint cages suck and most of the corn ends up dropping straight down or right at the legs. I would get a Buccee's or one of the newer Academy brand with the varmint plates.

That design with with caging around the spinner is not nearly as performant as the similiar models you see with the sandwiched plates and no cage.

The Buc-ee's feeder is about the same price/capacity and uses the twin plates.

Only bad thing I've noticed with the plates is they are so quiet the only way I know when they go off is if I see the corn dust cloud!

Have to open the windows on your blind!!!! Just kidding. My 12v motors make a good amount of noise when they go off between the two plates.

Ha! Feeder is 100 yards away, 12vt Ramball built, 3-4 yo, haven't heard it once from the blind (windows open). I also have another pig feeder 45 yards away, 12vt All Seasons, rarely hear it either.

Animals hearing it is the dinner bell ringing..... 2cents

You should be able to mount a couple small “cow bells” that you see in stores around Christmas time. Just hang them a couple inches away from the plate. They won’t deflect very much corn but will still sound the dinner bell....
