I wish someone could provide a good explanation that makes sense as to why S TX always gets 2 more weeks to hunt than does the hill country.
Why can't they simply open up the HC season 2 weeks earlier than S TX and even things out.
I mean isn't there still more deer/acre in the HC than in S TX. SMDH
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

I think it's just a holdover from pre MLD. The big money/influencers hunting STX had the season changed to start later and end later, but then it just changed to add 2 weeks to STX.

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.
