I doubt you're still reading this 18 days later, wondering what to do. At least I hope not. At any rate...I headed to the house when I was 43. I cannot imagine what trouble I would have gotten into if I was single. From my just 1 year single, between marriages, I learned one thing - loneliness makes you do stupid stuff. Don't be stupid.
There are some very successful bi-polar people. Doesn't have a thing to do with intelligence. That's doesn't mean they're the marrying/long-term relationship type. Having observed my bi-polar sister-in-law for 29 years, I would say "hell no".
And, since you retired before 42, I would venture to guess that there are some significant financial assets on your side. Just sayin'. Do not proceed past GO without an iron-clad pre-nup. That could be the deal breaker for her right there.

Au contraire ( since we're using fancy French words). Last girlfriend before I met my Wife could be 2-3 different people. WE both suffered from her bi-polar antics, especially if alcohol was involved. Run Nathan, run!

I'm guessing this one's done. It was a good ride while it lasted. Some day Nathan will come back on. No matter what he says, it will be revived again.
