I'm just passing along what I heard. The only place a previous dog of ours went with us was to the lake. The dogs we have now aren't suitable for travel.

Come to New Braunfels. Lots of places to eat and no downtown bustle. Enough already. Keep it to yourself. No Alamo either... I like the missions too. Lot of history there. The Alamo is a treasure. Missions are awesome to see, I wish my school included those when we would visit the Alamo.

No way Ranch is keeping him that busy. He was too regular on here. Got to be lent. Thanks Txtro, I had ask as well and was wondering. Back to topic--if in San Antonio, look up SA Hunter, he seems like a good one to meet. It certainly could. Service out there isn’t great, either.

I appreciate all the feedback. We ate at Casa Rio on Friday night. Food was mediocre, but it was a good spot to sit along the riverwalk and people watch.
We were going to eat at Southerleigh on Saturday afternoon - the whole Peal area is a pretty cool place, but both me and the wife weren't feeling well so we cancelled our spot on the waitlist and just decided to head home Saturday night cutting our trip short. We stayed at Hotel Indigo - if we were in a different room it may have been better - but our room sucked and was extremely loud being on the 1st floor corner by the road. May have slept like an hour Friday night. It was well worth driving 5 hours back home to sleep in our own bed and have all day Sunday to get things done around the house.
As an aside - we aren't the type to force our dogs down others throats. If a place has a dog friendly patio - excellent - if it doesn't - no big deal. They aren't service animals or the scam "emotional" support animals - they're just pets. Not everywhere is pet friendly and that is just fine by me. I will say they are better mannered and well behaved than 98% of the kids we came across though. Most places along the riverwalk (outdoor seating) appeared to be dog friendly as there were dogs on most patios. Saw plenty of people who had dogs with them that had no business having dogs with them....that is just annoying as screaming kids.
